Please state your age and what you do..
And better yet, how much you earn weekly or yearly
Not to be rude asking what you people do, because I just graduated from year 12, and about to sit for a state high school test..

And wondering what I should do after this, I know I should have planned my career goals ages ago, but as my life progress, I tend to change my career perferences.
Once again do not take this thread offensive, as I know alot of people don't like to share their wages/pay.

Peace

I'm 26, I work in an office for an aerospace company. Full title is associate program manager for production transition. How much do I make...not enough for having a title with the word "manager" in it :p:

My first degree was in electronic engineering, I would in this field for years--in 1990 I returned to college and took up computer science. I am fifty-five years old, software engineer in assembly language and "C" on the intel platform. Masters degree, working on my doctorate ... I used to work for such companies as Boeing, Lockheed, Lucent, etc., these days I am semi-retired and do private contracting. The job pays enough ... but my wife never thinks so! <grin>

Right now, I am not so sure I would recommend this field for a younger person comming along--too many of these positions are moving over seas to india, pakistan, china, etc. where cheap labor does them much cheaper than one would here in the good 'ole USA! ... :swear:

Regards,
JS

I'm 36, until recently, I was the materials manager for an automotive parts manufacturing company It was a great job that paid well. unfortunately the bottom has fallen out of the automotive industry, and now I am an office temp, making barely enough to get by.
I also own a small sign and graphics company, I did a lot of equipment and truck lettering, unfortunately the high cost of fuel has caused some of my biggest repeat customers to go bankrupt..
I also DJ parties and such. I run live sound. I have run the sound system for the local college's stage productions a few times..

How much do I make?

Not enough...

Im 28, am a stay at home mom, I get paid with smiles and love. Very satisfying job I must say.

Until April of this year I managed ~7000 head of nursery pigs and co managed about 10,000 head of finisher hogs (gilts to be sold for breeding-meat), I worked with that company for 9 years, was severly underpaid, and hope to never have to go back to that business. When I left my yearly salary was ~29k.
