What do you do for work?

YEs my wife is self employed, we're still trying to get the business off the ground...she works probably 50% more hours than I do, and I make about 90% of our combined income. However, I'm hoping that within 5-10 years it will be the other way around, and I can quit and manage the business :D Then I get to work in my pjs too.

We work at home. We have an online business then brings well into the 6 digits a year and we work in our PJ's...:) Actually it is really nice, we work when we want, we sit outside every morning on the patio and watch the koi pond and the hawk and hope the kois win (which so far they have the hawk has left it alone) We take off in the middle of the day to go the the LFS or to the Mall. So it is really nice. But at times demanding for other days we can work till 9 or 10 PM. Feast or famine when you own your won business!

My tank is new so no full tank pics yet..:)

I am a full time student, with an LFS job technically full time (hour-wise). I get a break on a lot of goods, etc., but none of my equipment was purchased at this store (all online). The animals have (had) come from various vendors, with most corals that I had starting off as $5, half-dead throwaways. An old FTS before my anemone killed it:

I deal with electrical engineering, server & network administration, programming and desktop technical support on contract for small to medium sized companies.

No pictures yet because I have just started a 10g, and am in the process of designing a custom 55g (70g with the sump)

I'm a full time graduate student that works one day a week at Bath & Body Works. I just happen to still be daddy's little girl (who is in the oilfield) with a mom that works for him. Granted, my tanks are not extreme, I just have a lot of money invested into 3 while not exactly having a job.

I've always wanted to learn how to play one, but I heard that they are far more difficult than a piano--and I'm terrible at the piano.
I only build 'em...I can't play believe it or not. It looks more difficult to me than a piano just because you have to use your feet.

Well I'm a full-time law student with no paying job right now, so I like to think that it's my boyfriend's meager income, and not my enormous loans that will have to be paid back at 7%, that is paying for our tank. Of course, that's why we only have a 30G FW non-planted tank at the moment. I dream of the day I can get a nice SW reef set up, of course it will probably be 20 years down the road before I can afford one, but it's nice to dream.....

I worked with a building automation and controls company for the past six years but currently back to school. I'm doing an ROV (remote operated vehicles) program and should be working by the summer.

ROV's are basically a submersible robot with cameras and manipulators, mostly used for offshore oil fields to depths divers can't go but a lot of scientific research is also carried out by them. I know National Geographic uses them to try and find new species and to videotape deep dives.

How am I going to focus on my job if I happen to see a school of fish swim by? Now that's a test!!!
