if it'll reach, yeah. you'll need the 1/2" f.i.p to 3/4" male hose thread adapter for it. then to take the shower head on and off easily without stripping it and/or making it leak, you'll need another adapter with 3/4" female hose thread to 1/2" MIP.
FIP = femaile iron pipe
MIP = male iron pipe
FHT = female host thread
MHT = male hose thread
you'll need some teflon tape as well for the 1/2" threads.
When I broke my ankle I wasn't able to cycle my tanks for three months. Outside of dirty tanks nothing much happened except I have a lot more guppies and swordtails now.
And for the poster who said "Man Up" - take a little time to try to understand what the other person is going through or you'll end up like the lady who walked up to my mother-in-law at the store to ask her how she managed to lose so much weight. The ansswer - terminal cancer.
i broke my ankle too! i got my boot off at the end of november. i still did water changes when i broke it though. it was painful but i got some help with it too.
A-668 (GH4) / 0 48643 07188 9 /// 3/4" MH x 1/2" FIP /// this one connects to the shower pipe. teflon tape should be used between this part and the pipe itself.
A-677 (GH6) / 0 48643 07192 6 /// 3/4" FH x 1/2" MIP /// this one connects to the shower head. teflon tape should be used between this part and the shower head itself.
* no teflon tape is necessary between the two adapters as the female adapter contains the necessary o-ring to make a leak free connection just like a hose.
just installed mine... 90% drain and refill with matched temps on a 50 in under 25 minutes and no effort. can't complain.
