At first, I just replanted the trimmings (water sprites), but now my tank is so heavily planted that I need a new solution. What do you do with your plant trimmings?

First, I see if there is room in another tank. If not, then I browse around to see if anyone needs it. Most of the time I just end up throwing stuff away though.

A few options:
1) Throw them away.
2) Give them away/sell them/trade with LFS for credit.
3) Buy another tank to put them in.
I like choice 3, it's a good excuse to give into MTS.

We also have water sprite in the 30g. When we trim it....I take the good trimmings (the ones with some roots) to work and float them in the 5g for my dwarf gourami to play with. He drags them around and makes his bubble nest with them. I replace them if they start looking brown. We throw away the rest.:coffee:
