I am trying to figure out what to feed my new killifish and thought I would find out what everyone does.

Right now I feed flake and sinking pellets but I am thinking of adding frozen bloodworms to the mix to keep my new rainbows happy.

What does everyone else do? DIY recipes?

My killis eat just about anything....they seem to prefer live or frozen to flakes or pellets. I feel bloodworms and tubiflex (frozen) and brine shrimp (live). So i wouldnt worry too much about what to feed them. Just keep the food varied.

I like to change the diet up..in a natural situation the fish would normally feed on a variety of foods.
so I feed brine shrimp, blood worms, black worms and flake.

I feed a varied diet. Flakes, pellets, algae wafers, frozen foods, dried tubifex and blood worms. I don't feed live food, except when my platies have babies they tend to become food.

Edit: I forgot...I also ocassionally feed them veggies.
