I'd go for it. The 50/50 combo makes fish look so much better than a single bulb. The housing does looks nice aswell; I like that it stands above the tank, and not on it.
Is the 50/50 you are talking about 50% daylight and 50% Actinic? because if it is i would watch out for the cheap Actinic bulbs, i have 4 of them (and halides), and the fish look pale under them i am replacing them with 6700K
do some reading son! the auction specifically mentions the bulb offerings... they come in 3 color spectrums, each with their own merits. it's one of the basic elements of choosing a light... getting the desired bulb color temperature.
