At a certain point, when all the organs are present (except the testes and ovaries), teeth etc, and the continuous fin has taken its familiar forms, but before adult colors are there, then the fry is becoming a "juvenile."

Fry are essentially "larval fish." Soon they become tiny miniatures of adults.
