I also have Puntius Denisonii aka Torpedo Barbs aka Roseline sharks, they are scooling fish and are semi-aggressive. They are from India. They do best is schools of 4 or more. They grown to 4-5 inches so they need a decent sized aquarium.

From http://www.aquascapeonline.com:

Puntius Denisonii accepts most foods, including flakes, granules, small pellets, spirolina, hair algea, as well as frozen foods. Bloodworms, cyclops and daphnia are readily taken and can help heighten the red colouration in the fins and on the flanks. Feeding a color food rich in astaxanthin and other carotenoid pigments as the sole dried food can also help make this species more colorful.

This looks a lot like my rasboras... interesting.

They are very cool. Maybe I'll own a school of these one day.

Torpedo barbs are beautiful fish. They do need a fairly big aquarium though. I'd think around a 75g would be minimum for a school. 55g might be ok if they are the only school. They can be hard to find at LFS and are usually fairly expensive.

A 125g tank or something similar with a big school of these guys would be awesome!

You can get these online for about $12.00 a fish, Not sure of the quality. I get them locally and they cost me about $8.00 each. I bought mine when my favorite LFS had a buy one get one sale. These fish are very hardy.

Wow, where do you get them? The only time I've seen them near me, they were 30 bucks each. I think live aquaria sells them for about the same.
