Okay I'm guilty of buying 2 ID sharks without doing my research first. When I bought them they were in a 10g, now they are in my 55g community tank. They are about 5". I am looking to find them a bigger home but if not I will just have to keep upgrading if they are still alive. I really would like to keep them if at all possible. Anyways, I'm going to look at a 66g tank tomorrow. If I decide to buy it I was thinking about moving the 2 ID sharks into that tank and buying 3 clown loaches. Do you think that would be okay? I know the sharks won't be able to stay there too long(depending how fast they grow) but what about the clown loaches? :huh:

This is a used 66g tank that I can get for a good price. Now since my only reason for getting a very large tank would be my 2 ID sharks, and they are only 5". They aren't going to outgrow a 66g (at the rate they have grown since I bought them) for at least a year. But what if I bought a huge tank so prematurely and something happened to them? I wouldn't buy them again...I know better. Then a tank as large as what they need would not be necessary. I think I could get away with buying a 125g just for the clown loaches. But when I get a larger tank my husband wants the 66g to gear up with a chiller for some young trout.I'm not sure if my logic makes sense or not.
