It's 24" across, I know that. Wider and taller than my 10g. Perhaps someone else could help you out on the "footprint" question.

24 inches across is the same as a 20H. Must be larger in some other dimension or it would be a 20.
My third tank is a 28G. i have it on the 47G Bowfront, looks better than the narrower bowfront. Now I want to upgrade it to the 47G Bowfront. They're nice anks.
Given a choice? No, I wouldn't get another bowfront. I have the same one you're talking about. I bought it because it was mislabeled at Petsmart for $65. I needed a tank back then and couldn't pass up that price. They didn't even notice when it rang up that way and I didn't say a word.
After having this one, I'd still rather have a regular tank now. I'll eventually sell this one just because it's a bowfront.
