What does fin re-growth look like?

I am trying to help my betta recover from fin rot, however, I cannot tell for sure if his fins are growing back. What does fin regrowth look like?

well i've seen regular fin recovery on bettas and it looks like the "webbing" is replaced with similar colors just a tad duller
If your question is actually simpler than it seems identify you betta's breed and compare fin length and see if he is recovering.

After my betta shredded his fins the regrowth looked like a clear border on the damaged edges of his fins.
