what does garlic do for fish again (i forgot)

Empirically, it has been shown to maybe ward off parasites, but there haven't been full-scale studies completed at this point.
It's meant for intestinal parasites, (hexamita? was it?) a regime started years back by a well-known Discus breeder. Garlic extracts diluted in the water aren't effective. It's got to be included in every single meal of flake feed to be effective.
