what dwarf angels do you have in your reef?

Until I started keeping some beautifully colored SPS coral, I tried to color my tank up with fish. In my mind, that meant big colorful fish like certain Tangs and Angels.

My LFS has the most awesome and realistic tank I have ever seen. It's about 350-400g and is only viewable from one end. It is primarily SPS with LPS and the largest fish is about a 3" Anthias. Most of the fish are tiny Gobies that max out at 1.5-2" in length. Not a single Tang or Angel resides in this tank.

If you want to consider a tang, the Ctenochaetus species (i.e. yellow eye, etc.) are the smallest. They would be the best bets in tanks above 55 gallons.

I have a flame in my tank...I only have one zoa colony so far, but he hasn't gone near the polyps at all. That's my experience with him and corals as of now :)

schigara you have a good point, i have always felt that i need big fish in my larger tanks. maybe it's because i've always kept freshwater fish so the fish are the attraction in the tank. now with the sw tanks i can look in my tanks sometimes and not even see a fish but it's still so awesome because of the corals...

damon- i guess i told myself "no tangs" because the tank is only 4' and tangs 'need more swimming room'. i have no plans to upgrade after this tank. the tank will be set up pretty open with the rock work but i just don't want to feel that the fish doesn't have the room it needs.
