What else to help constipated oto?

Regardless of whether it is constipation vs. egg laden, there is no reason to isolate him/her at this time. If you have not already, I would place it back in the aquarium with the rest of your specimens. Have you noticed any other strange behaviors>

I isolated him more to try and get him to latch onto the pea vs. the glass, a plant, the driftwood etc. than to get him away from everyone else.
