What fish can go in a 10 gallon?

Glad it works for you but most people are not willing to do a water change every 2 days so their tanks would foul up quickly.

Maybe a small school of a type of tetra with 3 cory's?

You need to have at least 5 neon tetras in a tank. They are much happier with higher numbers. How about put the neons in the new tank, add at least 3 more and the 3 cories? And then add some tank mates for the fish in your other tank?

Most, but not all, fish would prefer to not be the only one of their kind in a tank.

Man I wish the pet shop would have told me so much stuff. I even asked him if I need to have a school on neon tetras and he said no. I asked him what I need to do. He told me nothing. I didn't even know what cycling was until I started to research online. He also is telling me that inch per gallon rule. Which I now know does not work. You would think they would want people with more experience. Thank you all for your help!!!
