What Fish is shrimp safe??

Well fish that are too small would be fry, and I think almost all fish can fit a baby shrimp in there mouth. So that would lead to fish that don't like eating shrimp aka shrimp safe.

Puppyfluffer lol that's pretty funny about your betta, I bet he had a field day. Any other personal experience with fish that get along with shrimp would be great. thanks all!

I've kept quite cories and tetras(silvertips, pristella, bloodfin, and black neons) with no problems.

I have threadfin rainbowfish that can't eat my shrimp, not even the babies. The threadfin's mouths are very tiny, only big enough to eat baby brine shrimp and other comparably sized foods. I keep my threadfins in my tap water which has a pH of 7.5 and a dH of 8, meaning that the water is pretty hard! The only challenge with threadfins is keeping them well fed. Like I said they can only eat very tiny things. They will eat finely crushed flakes, but can't thrive on it. They're fun to watch, too, seeing the males flare and flash their long fins at one another!

I have a 29 with Ember Tetras, Threadfin Rainbows, 5 spotted Corys, 5 teeny Hara jerdoni (which I never see), and a few Boraras merah and they get along famously with my RCS in a heavily planted tank.

Some species will be ok with shrimp but you will always lose some babies to the fish. Luckily RCS are quite prolific so some young usually survive in a planted tank and you probably won't notice the losses.

I really wouldn't recomend putting any livebearers in a tank with shrimp you'd like to keep around. I throw some ghost in my tank from time to time to help clean up between the lava rock. I put like $25 worth and they'll last a month or two. whenever my fishes find one they fight over it like a piece of gold and tear it apart. I would not ever put a more expensive shrimp in with them it is quite a horrific sight even at 12 cents a piece.
