What Fish Should I Add???

yah they are relatively small. they are great fish - active, adventurous and efficient bottom-feeders! They get along great with my zebra danio - although the zebra tends to eat most of the food before any falls to the bottom.

Does anyone know of any other small bottom-dwellers that would be good to add? mini-crabs, snails, etc.

In the 5g? You cant add any more. The ammoina and nitrite levels have little to do with how many fish you can get. The best thing to do would be to get a 15 to 20g tank and increase your schools.

Do you feed any frozen food like bloodworms? The danio and cory cats will like that along with the flake food. I have a turkey baster that I use just for my fish and squirt the bloodworms to the bottom for my cory cats.

Could you fit a 10 gallon tank in the same place as your 5 gallon? That way you could add a few more danios and pandas. It really doesn't take up that much more room, I have my 10 gallon on the end of my dresser.

I agree that you should not add anything else. What shape is your 5 gallon? I realize that you want to add more things but remember that your fish need room to swim as well as surface area for the bottom dwellers.

I feed them bloodworms, but they are the dry ones sold on the counter. I keep them on my shelf, not in the freezer... are these just as good? Great idea on the turkey baster! I will do that!

Freez dried arnt as good as frozen. Frozen worms have a lesser change of having someing bad in it.
