what fish to add and how many?

Swimfins

This is as good as it gets.
 I have a twenty five gallon tank with a sand and smooth pebble
substrate, and 8 small live plants as well as 2 plastic. Temp is 79 F. The aquarium is two weeks old which I think means its just about finished cycling? Right now I have 4 platies, one swordtail and two young corydoras.
I have just started to notice some algae growth on the plant leaves. Is it typical of the fish to eat algae? I notice them grooming the leaves of my plants, with no damage to the plants. Also I noticed the bigger cory likes to school with the 4 platies from time to time. Thanks.

I'm curious about this as well, I'm trying to come up with ideas to stocking my 25g from scratch, tho not as planted as yours.

I don't see why not, I got the idea from looking at lots of other people's tank pics. I got the unglazed kind, and scrubbed it under hot water to get all the goobers off. As far as I know they haven't messed with the pH or hardness.

Lol, Meeee too. So far the plants are all fake. I got two with my tank, then a value 3-pack from walmart. Fake hollow log with holes and a fake holey rock both from walmart. Numerous granite rocks from my travels (well cleaned of course). Cheap flower pots from walmart ($1 for 2). THe gravel was overpriced imo, and so were my testing equipment. Next time I shop online >.<
