What fish to add with SafeStart?

AquaSafe is what they recommend anyway... it's not bad to have it around! I can't wait to use prime though.

Bad news... I got a nitrite reading today. It's almost been two weeks since I stocked the fish and put safestart in it, I don't know if I should do a water change or try for safestart again. Maybe I got a bad batch. Ugh. It seemed to be almost over.

I'd do a water change and keep an eye on things. But I'm weird in that I enjoy tank maintenance.

My tap water is 8.0 pH. Tank pH holds around 6.6, and I'm pretty sure it's because of the mopani. My recent water change brought the pH up slightly, but it dropped back down to 6.6 within 24 hours.
