I had glowlight tetras in with my danios. They got along quite nicely. I wouldnt add them though because they need to be in a group and it would be overstocked. a platy would work. They are hardy and pretty.

I'd go with 3 otos. Another school of fish would overstock the tank. You have to remember that 10g tanks aren't that big. A single dwarf gourami might work, but since danios are so active, they might stress the gourami out....so I'd go with the otos.
