For flakes I use TetraMin, but my primary is Hikari. I use their FD tubifex, brine shrimp, blood worms and daphnia. I tried BioBlend, but I'm not sure which it was. All I know is that the stuff was pretty big and it sunk fast.

New Life Spectrum

I vote for New Life Spectrum

I switched the cichlids to this and they got such great color, and they needed less food than when they were getting flake but put on wieght.

Then I raised the discus on the growth formula plus beefheart.

I got so many other foods from samples at fish events or auctions that I had to start feeding the cichlid tank some of the others, Bio-blend and Tetra flakes, even Dianichi. The fish look so bad, they were much prettier on 100% New Life Spectrum. I guess I need to alternate it or something. I need to use up these foods or just throw them out I guess.

Wardly's wafers seem to be the algae chip taster's choice, and they have no ash, making them much better for my tank.

Satori Koi pellets are the pleco equivilant of pretzels when floating. When they sink, the royal plec dogs around on his fins cleaning them up...

Tetra Color max for the guppies and whomever cleans them up

Omega Shrimp pellets make the vampire wiggle with glee, when he can pry the loaches off of them. The commons enjoy these too.

Edit.. and fresh veggies.. corn daily, zuchini every other day, broccoli when I'm having it for dinner too, squash when it's from the garden, pumpkin at halloween..

HBH products if i can find them, tetraMin or wardleys if i cant. i really like the HBH spirulina flakes for the Malawi tank. they seem to be coming rarer in my neck of the woods.... everything has gone Omega... huh, i wonder if its the same company?

Hikari algae discs are my favorite. the wardleys are higher in spirulina content, but seem to float more.

the africans get blanched romaine and green leaf lettuce from time to time, as much for our entertainment as their health. fresh green bean and chopped broccoli stems (blanched) in the summer. the lettuce is a great party gag, people love it, really accentuates the attack of mbuna.

huh, i never noticed how high the ash content is in the Hikari wafers...

Those Oscar chow things the ones that come in baby ect. I think its Hikari I don't know.

I fit into all three catigories. Omega one Is expensive so I only buy I every 2 monthes (example: tubefex $12.56 krill $11.99). I use tetra min as my main flakes. For frozons I go with ByTheBay. I have also been useing Aquarian cichlid pellets and have been experimenting with small Hikari Discus Red Inhancer wich has worked well for the sevrum and the blood parrot and especially for the G terror

i give my fish all types of food
omega, spectrum, cleverfish, hai feng, even vegis
my fish dont care they eat anything

My main food I feed is SERA GARNULATED FOOD out of Germany. Along with that I also a pinch of either OMEGA ONE FLAKES, TETRA COLORBITS, or WARDLEY TUBIFEX WORMS.
