What happened to him ?

Few more days have passed and still no BTA, water parameters are still the same as last time i checked

My wife tells me she did not give him away or do anything with him. My wife did ask me to look behind the tank because she thinks maybe he crawled out :laugh:

I must do up lost BTA poster today and put it around the neighborhood maybe someone see him hanging around
 
Hmmm... This is really odd. And, that's a big anemone to just disappear.
I'm a bit curious if it has moved into an area where you cannot see and is splitting, but I would think it would have come back out and shown itself by now.
 
Well i just moved around 75% of the rock inside my tank to try and find him and nothing , what i did not move i could see around it

So i am really confused here now, I am 90% sure the BTA is not in my tank.

How could a Nem. that big die and not affect the entire tank ?

It did cross my mind that he might have been spiting but he is gone now for almost a month

Oh well i did rearrange the tank some today so all is not lost :)
 
My BTA never came back so yesterday I went to my LFS and got a new one , this guy is much smaller but my clowns are so happy now they never gave the Nem. a sec to adjust they dove right in

aww.... (wipes eye)...that is such a sweet ending to the story. Unless of course the Late Lamented comes roaring back from wherever it's been. Or you get a ransom note. :)

btw is that 1 bta or 2? If 1, what is that pink thingy in the front/middle of it? and second the motion for a full tank shot.... looks gorgeous. You should show off you new rockwork.
 
Tanks is not at its best , I broke it down few weeks ago looking for the old Nem.

That is really weird. I have had smaller fish disappear without a trace.... but then that is understandable. Not something so large.
