What is a guppies breeding age?

I'm just getting started breeding (playing) with guppies. Do they have a certain age or size they have to be before they will start breeding?

6-8 weeks... look for a males gonopodium(sp?)

Thanks for the reply. I was just curious. I've had them for almost 2 months now and nothing has happened. She don't even have, or have ever had, that dark spot yet that I've read about showing she's pregnant. What's up?

Stupid question!! Like I said, I'm new. Whats a gonopodium (sp?)???
