i read this in many posts but i have no idea what BBA is. It seems like people fear it like the plauge though..

It stands for Black Beard Algae. It forms in clumps of short hair-like strands that look like little black beards. It's actually a red algae. It's one of the tougher types to iradicate, it's tough, resisits blackouts, and few critters will actually eat it.
