In my tank, there is this weird growth growing all over my plants and decorations, but mainly on the plants. Sorry I don't have a picture of it, but I will describe it briefly.
The growth is a small white spot with a black spot in the middle of it. It is very hard and will not come off when I try to scrape it. It grows mainly on the plants, though the bogwood is starting to get it. It is like small pebbles that grow on the plants, but it attatches itself on it.
Is it an excess of some mineral? I have been adding plantgro and some aquarium plant food tablets which contains phosphorous, nitrate, and potash. Does anyone know what is causing this weird growth and how I can get rid of it?
