what is it?

so i guess noone can tell me what is on my lr..?
their little brown worm looking guys. they are fixed on the rock ...and are very small and seem to catch food i feed the fish.
they are coiled up in little tubes with some very very very small tentacles,sometimes it looks like they have a web that is present on the rock. i am just wondering if these are desirable or a nuisance.

Sounds like one of the many stony tube worms. They are harmless--help clean up food a bit, and leave those little stony tubes all over. Check here for more: http://reefs.org/hhfaq/

they do grab the extra food floating around. i was worried the might could harm a fish if it got to close... but no worries now.
