What is on this pleco's nose?

here is a picture of something i discovered today on my pleco. What is it?

Can't really tell from the picture. Is it fuzzy? Or does it look like a large white growth?
 
The pic is really blurry. What kind of pleco is it? What size tank? What other inhabitants? What are the water params? Any new plants or fish added? Describe the object.
 
Do you think maybe that's a bristlenose pleco? The pics are too blurry to tell for sure but it's a possibility.

Yeah, that is why I asked what species. If it is a male BN, it could be a bristle that got caught or infected or something.
 
That is definitely a BN, but I don't know what that growth is.

Sounds logical, if it is an infected bristle keep the water very very clean. Is he acting abnormally?
