What is Proper cory behavior?

Yes, they are great fish, mine swim all over the tank. They are by far the most active I have. Mine do the same thing where they go to the top and take what looks like gulps. Perhaps they are getting oxygen this way, I know that Betta's have an organ to do this with.
 
I also thought that something was wrong with mine because of its darting to the top but now I know that it is okay. That is a slight relief I really thought something was wrong with it. I have a very tiny spotted cory also but I havent noticed it darting straight to the top. But they do swim around a lot.
 
I just got 3 albino corys yesterday, and noticed this behaviour - i was worried! I think I am in love tho' - they are the coolest little fish, and so adorable! The three of them play tag in the bubble wall - such fun to watch.
 
Hi, mine do it to, when all three take to syncronising this move (which is quite often) they wake the cats up on the sofa! Mine also roll their eyes in a comical manner .....do yours??
 
Yea I love my cories too. I occasionally see mine chasing around my barbs like their playing. And I have my magnetic algae scraper and the cories like to sit on it like its a little ledge and will face out like their watching what is going on in the room.
 
I have albino's too. Just wait till you see one fall asleep on it's back and your heart skips a beat cause you think he's dead! Little brats!! First time I saw this I was just getting up the nerve to scoop the little "dead guy" out of the tank.....when he rolled over and scooted away. When I saw a second cory do this, I knew they were just comical little spoiled brats and I adore them!

mine do this weird jump thing too.

i dont know what it is.. they stay at the bottom of the tank and in their little groups mosto f the time.. but then out of the blue, POP! and you can see one dart to the top.

they're so cute!
