What is snail jello...and who eats it?

I've seen snail jello mentioned a lot lately. What is it and who all likes it?
Sounds like its not just for snails anymore.....

Seroiusly though, Its made for snails, but other animals like it as well..

when I finally got around to making it I was amazed that my fish, bottom dwellers and snails love it!! I am goign to make several different kinds over the next month, but so far the one I made was a huge hit!
I took a small jar of mixed vegtables ( baby food) stuck it in the microwave until it was seriously hot, added fish flakes in the form of spirolina flakes, kril and plankton flakes, a handful of brine shrimp pellets, added the non flavored jello and mixed well, put it in the fridge to form the jello and cut it into squares. I feed this in the evening because I can feed the whole tank in one shot, and it makes it less time consuming.
next batch I will be added cubbed tubifex, and other flakes I have. and using fruit baby food.

My cherry shrimp love the stuff. Otos seem to like it too, and will hover around the jello, sucking the residue off the gravel. I made a recipe once that had veggies and stuff..calcium supplement, baby food, the whole 9, and the shrimp went nuts for it. The stuff I just made had baby food, calcium supplement, a few crushed algae wafers, a bit of flake food, and a pinch or two of frog pellets. they like it, but not as much as the previous batch.

Everyone in my tanks loves jello from the inverts to the loaches, plecos, angels...etc...
they all adore snail jello lol.

Admittedly, when I use gelatin, honey and calcium pills together, some people taste the snail jello while in early stages and say it is very tasty. I just snickered and when they ask what it is for, I said snails. Some freak out, some just say it's weird.lol No fish food is used though so it was fine until I start using it for the snails anyway. All my fish absolutely love the snail jello, not just the snails. I've used plaster of Paris pucks at the moment which is less hassle.
