:rofl: that is hilarious lol At least your friends are gettign their calciumAdmittedly, when I use gelatin, honey and calcium pills together, some people taste the snail jello while in early stages and say it is very tasty. I just snickered and when they ask what it is for, I said snails. Some freak out, some just say it's weird.lol No fish food is used though so it was fine until I start using it for the snails anyway. All my fish absolutely love the snail jello, not just the snails. I've used plaster of Paris pucks at the moment which is less hassle.

The beautiful thing about snail jello is that since you're using plain gelatine as a binding agent, you can put pretty much whatever you want into it. You can tailor it to your critters' needs. For my snails I use garden vegetables baby food, spirulina powder, calcium powder, veggie flakes, and some honey just because they like it
