I just bought a female krib and I need to know how big she's going to get. I heard that females are smaller than males. Is that right?

Thanks!

The mature sizes are 10 cm (4 inches) for males, and 7 cm (3 inches) for females. I have seen male max size given as 4.5 inches.

Byron.

Thanks Byron. I was waiting for this answer. Everything I looked at was in cm and I failed to write it down and find a converter. Sometimes I just don't think of things I can do.

Thanks!

btw, the krib has acclimated well and very fast, is picking around the bottom, and ate flake food (the green ones) this morning.

Does it look like a female?

My normal kribs are larger than my albinos. I have fry from the normal and am waiting for the albonos to do their thing. I'm curious to see if the eventual albino fry I raise get larger than Mom and Pop.
