What is the best automatic feeder?

What I find to be the biggest problem about leaving for a week or two is water level/quality, especially during the summer. Do you have a way to keep the water level topped off? The normal water quality of your tank is no problem...but as water evaporates and is not replaced the concentration of impurities changes and the fish can get shocked.

I've got my tanks tightly covered with a slot in the backsplash panels for the feeder to drop the food.

Evaporation isn't much of a problem, the plants help with water quality, and I grossly understock. Makes tank maintenance much more leisurely.

It's more difficult to keep any heavily stocked tank if you go on frequent trips (business or otherwise).
