I have just a regular digital camera, nothing special and find I get the best results of putting the camera on something steady, a makeshift tripod of sorts, turning the flash off, setting the timer and hitting the shoot button, then 10 seconds later the camera will take its pic. But let it sit for 10-15 seconds because when it doesn;t use the flash it has to draw light from other soucres so it takes a second to get the picture. This works good if you just want a shot fo the aquarium, but if any fish swim in front of the tank you may see a little blur where he swam. For taking pics of fish themselves I usually just charge up some batteries and sit in front of the tank for an hour and just snap away, then load em all ot my comp and keep the best ones.. usually 5-10 per hour.
