But the Bio-Wheel is a close second, so you're not wrong, either I liked my Bio-Wheel, it ran great and quiet, but it costs a lot more than the Aquaclears (if it's an Emperor).

Best for mech is HOT Magnum Best for versatility and cheapest to use are AquaClear. I am not a fan of Whisper, though I run 2 Jrs I got NIB for $6 each. I will never use a Tetratec. I have not tried any of the others available.
