I want to know what is the hardiest plant. In my tank right now I have 2 banana plants, a few swords, and a few other plants that I don't remember what their names are. What's the hardiest plant???

Java fern, java moss, vals

I would add Water-Sprite, but do not think vals are so hardy. They do need lots of light.

The first plant I could keep alive was a val. I had less than 1 wpg. Did well oddly enough. Vals were one fo the very first aquarium plants available to hobbyists, mainly because they were the only ones that would survive.

No matter where or under what conditions i put em in, Amazon swords do well for me. All Anubias, Java Fern, Java Moss, Sunset Hygro and Cryptocoryne Wendtii do well in most situations for me as well.

jav fern is immortal. amphibious plants are the best(anubias are too)

LOL it has got to be duck weed. Every other day I am making a mess at the office getting that stuff out!
