I just finished "Paddy Whacked: The untold story of the Irish American Gangster" by TJ English

It was a pretty good book

Are you talking about fun reading or school sorta reading

fun, girl what other kind of reading is there :D

I recently read Stone of Tears by Terry Goodkind. I don't know how it became a New York Times Bestseller. I put the sequel away about halfway through. Goodkind's plots are predictable and pedantic. Even his plot twists are telegraphed hundreds of pages before they happen. I haven't picked up a new book yet since then. I might just go back to some Moorcock for a change of pace. Moorcock certainly couldn't write, but he could sure tell a story.

Well I really enjoyed "Paddy Whacked" I always thought that the italians where the first mobsters in America, I was wrong it was the Irish :p

Dragon's Kin by Anne McCaffrey. I love most of her books, but her son is going to take over the Pern series so I don't know how good they are going to be in the future.

Kaleidoscope Century, by John Barnes... for like the 6th time. Great book, if you can get past the death and sexual violence.

Just finished Amerika by Kafka, after I finish one of his books I always say I won't read any more of his stuff, but for some reason eventually I always do.
