What is the most prolific livebearer?

guppies breed like crazy. the female will have like 50 fry, and then get released into the tank with the males and then get pregnant right away again. the fry are pretty small though, even though there are so many. if you wanted to feed them to your oscar, you may want to "grow them up" for a couple of weeks before you feed them to your oscar

there is an edit button in the lower right hand ofyour post.

But it doesnt seem to let you delete everything :^(

They don't call guppies "million fish" for nothing. With six females and two males, you can produce about 120 fry a month or so. Bon apetit.

They grow up much faster than other fish as well. My molly fry are about 2 inches tops and they are nearly four months old.

i've thought about trying a pinkie with my oscar would they eat one? i'll never do it my wife would never let me i have just always wondered if they would anyone know?
I fed my oscars pinkys for abit but they did not seem to like the taste so much.

Id assume since we arent supposed to feed oscars beef or chicken (besides beef heart) due to it being too fatty a pinky would also be discouraged. Im setting up my endler farm right now and Ill feed my oscar one once in awhile just to give him some excitement. Im tempted to try crickets in the meantime since they wont eat any other food Ive tried.

Guppies are prolific but you have to be careful when they start to inbreed....you very quickly will get a lot of deformed fish - not a problem, of course, just toss them to the Oscar but you don't really want to let them grow up and then breed again.
