Its a Coyote. They say in the article it is most likely just suffering from mange.
But it very well could be a Hairless Jackal. I have heard there is a rare form egyptian jackal that has little to no fur, due to inter breeding with a form of hairless whippet or somehting.
eh, the last one was a fox with a severe case of mange, I would surmise the same thing here..... the guy guessed it was a coyote.... either way it's pretty sad.
Generally it doesnt look like a fox, the legs and tail are too long. Of course the picture gives you real size reference, but I would say either coyote or mexican wolf depending on how large the animal is.
