What is this limpet-like organism?

i used to work in a petland. small leaches of this colour were with the tubifex/black worms
 
Uh huh, it seems like every time I buy blackworms from Petland, they'd come infested with leeches.
 
just a detritus eating leech.. nothing too bad to worry about. you can use tweesers and remove it
 
I would remove it, no matter if it was good or bad for the tank...but thats just me.
 
Whenever I see it, I travel to another room to get something to capture it with and then it's gone by the time I come back. I have plans for it to go in my scud tank. I managed to take video of it (but when i went to get a cup to put it in it's disappeared:headshake2:), just hope this will varify it's identity.
 
1. Freaky lookin leech. Makes my skin crawl (the pointing finger was totally unnecessary lol)

Keep a turkey baster next to the tank. Primed n ready to get that sucker outta there.
 
I just caught and disposed of two a few weeks back, and I another today. Then I noticed what could be babies (...or, maybe just planaria...) crawling around the glass.

I'm so blaming my recent sudden snail deaths on them.
