Hi Friends,

I got a few stems of this plant which the shopkeeper called as bacopa. It looks like this http://www.backyardstyle.com/shop/index.php?page=shop-flypage-10860, but the leaves have a pinkish-red color on the underside...

Kindly guide me on what is this plant if it will grow in my tank -

Mine has 3 x 30W Flourscent Tubes that emit a pinkish colored light and the tank is 4 feet, 250 liters... is it easy to grow and hardy ?

Kindly advice
Thanks !
Kush

Under good lighting, there are Bacopa species that will show a bit of pink (B. caroliniana, for example).

You have about 90W of (I'm guessing) "normal output" T-12 (or T-10 or T-8) lighting over ~60 gallons. If the bulbs are of the right spectrum (plants generally prefer the 6500-10,000K range), Bacopa may do well enough for you. Most species are in the medium range with respect to light demands, there are (I think) one or two seldom seen species that require more light. The commonly used aquarium species are pretty easy to grow.
