Any ideas what is going on here?
New tank set up water was all fine and have kept up to speed on water changes.
Added first fish a week ago. 10 Raspbora’s so far 4 have been found dead and now this one is removed from the group, breathing fast and can’t close his mouth. Looking carefully there is a white growth around his mouth

I would suggest you do some research about Flavobacterium columnare aka Columnaris. You will likley need to find appropriate antibiotics.

Columnaris is also sometimes called cotton mouth disease or saddleback disease. Columnaris is not a single strain of bacteria, there are multiple strains. Some take time to do harm and kill and they will show the symtoms mentioned. However, the more virulent strains can kill in under 24 hours and one will never see any external symptoms.

Columnaris is contgious and must be treated. So you need to confirm and treat it or else positively rule it out.

Thank you.
Will read up on this accordingly
Have earlier today started a treatment with esha 2000.
Am left with 3 of the 10 fish after only 7 days.
Hoping this will address.

I wish folks would list what country they are in. Esha is common in Europe but not the USA. If what you have is columnaris, this med will not help.

I do not like sending filks to overly scientific references, so i will summarize a bit. Milder strains of columnaris or less advanced stages of some of more virulanet strains can be treated by sosing a proper antribiotic in the water. After things are advance, this will not work, one needs for use medicated food. If a fish is not eating, onjection is the last resort and most of us cannot find, prepare or administer meds this way.

There is a weed killer that has proved effective, but this is not for folks new to the hiobbby and with no experience with "toxic" stuff should mess with this stuff. I believe procuring fish antibiotics in the UK and the rest of Europe requires a prescription from a vet.
