What is this strange creature in my tank?

Thanks everyone! I didn't squish him, I just can't kill things. So I put him in my endler tank instead.

YOU DID WHAT???!!! Please, take him out of any tank. Some endlers can disappear very soon!

You cant kill things so you put it with lots of small bite-sized fish... I'm sorry, but you're giving the death sentence to lots of your endlers.

My African cichlids would shred one of those if it ever got in my tank !!!!

flush it, it's a bug. go drop it in a pond, maybe :)

i don't know, i don't feel bad for bugs. at all. fish, yes. i wouldn't do either to my fish.

but bugs?

I agree. Bugs are icky! Get it out of there. Set it free outside if you cant bring yourself to kill it - just save your fish and get it out of there!

I have a marble crayfish in the endler tank and she ate him:) I can't physically kill things myself (I'm vegan too but that has nothing to do with this), but I have no problem with feeding bugs to fish. I mean the fish eat them, they don't mindlessly kill them and leave them. I do have a problem with bugs eating my beautiful shrimp in my tank, but in nature the rules are different.

I'm surprised over the dislike of bugs, I mean they play an important role in the natural world, they are beautiful if you really look at colors and shapes and designs. I don't like snakes and spiders (eww) but I wouldn't kill one. I can't think of anything worse then walking through a spiderweb either. So please be kind to bugs, something else would like to eat it:)

Thank you for your concern over my tiny endlers though, aren't they the cutest! I can't belive how small they are sometimes.

Hi!
Endlers are lovely, tennesseemom! That's why I was so worried about them. Now I feel a great relief (as if they were mine)!
I came back to the message to ask you 2 questions: Are the endlers safe with the crayfish? For how long they have been together?

The crayfish will eat them all, it's just a matter of time.
