What is this strange spot on the tail of my cory?

Hey Hexo, long time no see. I couldn't see your fish very well at all. I tried to make it bigger but failed. Can you post some still photos please?

I don't think I've ever heard of "fat deposits" on fins. There is lymphocystis, an untreatable virus, that can present as lumps like cauliflour on fins...If that's what it is, it can "self cure" (just go away) but other fish can get it & it can come back...

It does not look like cauliflower, more like excess mucous...
 
I'm not sure what that "excess fin mucus" could be. Maybe a bacteria, or fungus (less likely)? Are the fins frayed or just slimy looking?

Often the best first treatment is frequent large water changes, as often as you can. Daily or every couple days, 50% of tank volume if you can. Clean water can work miracles! Really! & it'll help until we can help you decide on a treatment available to you.

As I recall you are not in the US. Is that right? You may not be able to get all the meds we can here, but we'll try to help.

Tell us all about your tank please. What size? What fish? What maintenance & how often? What test results? Everything!!!...& then we'll ask more questions, lol. But we'll try to help you & your catfish.

I am in the US,
the fins are just slimy looking, no damage.
Turns out it might be Ich, and this catfish might be very stressed about it.
75g tank(actual volume probably a lot less), weekly 10g water change, cories, guppy, swordtail, platy, pearl gourami, rasbora.
test results are 0 for no2 no3 and ammonia, not sure why no3 is 0 too...

Ich looks like salt sprinkled on fish fins or bodies. It's pretty easy to ID.

I'm old school & prefer to treat with dyes, malachite green...or lesser, methylene blue. But there are other treatments...salt (just regular table salt) & a few others I haven't ever used. But they can work...Vacuuming is VERY helpful to reduce the parasite load...But, if it's ich, it takes a few weeks to treat

We still need pics to be sure...You've gone from slimy fins to ich...diseases can be hard to ID, & even harder to treat if you don't know what they might be...we can help...I'm pretty sure...

If you're in the US more of us can help with med options...for whatever disease your fish may have
