In your nightmares.
Are planaria symptomatic of any problems?

I saw this thing on the glass of my tank yesterday and it was MOVING... easily 3x as fast as the nuisance snails in my tank. It was only about 1/8th of an inch long.

I couldn't get a picture, but I sketched it out in PShop. Just want to make sure it's not some kind of parasite, anyone seen anything like this before? :read:

Apparently the image here is not working (I can't get it to show up anyways).so let me describe it...

It's about 1/8th inch long, whitish. Flanged head (like a diamond shape), looked almost snakelike (long and thin), but was traveling across the glass like a snail would except much faster.

Already did. ;-) I was googling freshwater worms and came across one, thanks for the help, that's definitely the creature in question... There's not much info on planaria in tropical tanks...

:dive2: between the snails and the planarians I gues I'm overfeeding a little... Mabe the colder temps mean my fish are eating less? I recently dropped their heat to 75 from 78 so that could be it...
