This is the rock that has a live clam embedded in it. Well in my research and reading it says clams like lots of light so I moved it up to the very top of the tank. And in doing so found something

http://www.starlasdesigns.com/tank10.jpg its the white thing sticking out kind of across from the feather duster. And today we noticed, two antennas sticking out of that white thing.

any ideas what it is??

thanks

looks to me like a worm. I have a bunch of these in my tank.

Do the tentacles look like this?

This info below and pic were taken from melev's site.

This interesting kritter is found in most reef tanks near the rockwork or in the substrate of the refugium. The worm (possibly a Chaetopterid or Spionid) secretes a mucous to build a small tube with sand grains (two tubes visible in the image above), and extends two 'palps' for feeding. The worm itself is very small (1/10" to 1/4") but its tentacles can be up to 10 times longer than its body. Chaetopterid is pronounced "key-top-terid." Reef-safe
