What is this???

I was wondering if anybody can tell me what this is. I thought it was a coral but over the last 2 or 3 days it has moved about 1/2 and inch to the right. It used to be where the green thing is growing (where the red circle is). If you know what it is it I would love to know.

It is either a "mushroom" (corallimorph) or anemone that has moved. It is also bleached.

Thanks for that. Its colour has been the same since it grew, the pic doesnt really do the colour justice but you might be right about the bleaching.

Looks like a anemone. Hard to tell though in that pic. I would be surprised if it were a shroom becaue I have never seen one that bleached if it is.

Thanks for your answers. I will try to get a better pic of it. A bit more info that might help. It is like a flat disc on a stick and it closes up at night and opens again during the day. Where it has moved is towards a window so it would seem to like the light

Ya it sounds like a anemone. They move to get to a spot they like. Had to tell though.

here is another pic. I think this is about as good as I can get. Hope it gives a better idea. Some have people have suggested an anemone but it doesnt have any tentacles would it still be an anemone??
