What is this

I just bought some live rock that was in a tank for about 3months. I seem to have gotten some typ of polyp with it, my newbie brain thinks it is a xenia polyps. When the lights are off if goes into a tube and when the lights come on it fans out a bit with little green bubbles on the tips. It moves around on the live rock daily. Since this is a FO tank with just a little bit of LR i wanted to know if i should feed this or is it dangerous to me or my tank. Thanks for the help.

Probably not xenia, sounds like a polyps of some kind, though. If you can get a pic, or find one that looks similar, we can likely be more helpful. It's probably not a threat to you or any fish, though.
