Oh you bet i am. Those are beautiful pieces. I always admire (with a bit of jealousy) what some people are able to create.

You said you didnt paint in a while - but what (back then) did you charge for the average piece ? I often find myself wanting to buy a nice piece of "real" art (meaning not a print but a unique piece) but just not being able to afford it. :-( Quite sad really....

Those are nice roan, what media do you use?

See if I can address everyone in one post :)

Emg:
I know what you mean :) I was named in the Scottish tradition, after my grandmothers ;)

Nursie:
Casey was a really cool boxer. My neighbour, Ashley, drove down to SC to visit her parents at Christmas four years ago and her father accidentally backed over Casey with his truck

She has a new boxer now, Dixie, and she's a sweetie too.

Hannys_Papa:
Hrm, it depended on the medium and size of the painting. A small (about 9x12) colored pencil painting I usually sold for $60. My pastels went for a lot more and are mostly commissions, usually between $150 and $300.

jennypenny:
All sorts :) The bottom three are Sennelier and Rowney pastel on Crescent Suede matboard or Crescent Pastel Paper and the rest are Bruynzeel/Prismacolor colored pencil on Windberg Sanded Pastel medium.

The colored pencil ships better than pastel, so I usually do only commissions or local sales in pastel.

Everyone else:
Thanks and I'll try to post more today.
