what is your favorite dog breed?

american pit bull terrier. born and raised with them. plan on getting a couple when i get back from this deployment. also really like amercan bulldogs.

Ask yourself, dogs and 3 babies? Do you really want me to lock myself in the closet for the next 18 years?

But if we get dogs, I want one of my piggy faced dogs!

I have read the story hachiko before, made me want to cry :) But with the husband in the army and deployments that are almost every year, I dont think could do 3 small kids and dogs just yet

I would have thought the same but in our neighborhood there are a pair who are meanies, when I walked my akita by them, one of them got off leash & attacked my dog & bit her lip & drew blood! cute dogs but I guess the owners didn't properly train!

it can certainly depend on the breeding and upraising they have as with any breed. if you research a reputitable breeder you should have good results.

agreed. we know other akita owners whose dogs are quite aggressive so I think it is more a function of their upbringing & training (or lack of).
