what is your favorite dog breed?

Australian Cattle Dogs
American Boxers
Boston Terrier
 
Terriers- mainly fox, jack russel and bull.
 
I'm suprised no one has said yorkshire terriers yet.:)

West highland white terriers
Rough coat jack russell terrier
Norwich Terriers are kinda cool too

Those are beautiful. Buddy with only a black eye and otherwise white lying in the middle is my dream dog.

How much do they go for over by you guys?
 
I love dogs in general, especially mutts/mongrels & hybrids.

Dobermann & German Pinschers
Greyhounds
Black Russian Terriers
Tibertan Spaniels
Jack Russels
Along with Staffies, Pitbulls, Bull Terriers, Boxers & dogs like them.

I've handled a lot of different dogs - mutts, hybrids & purebreds - so I'm well versed in most dog breeds, but I love Terrier dogs.

Basically anything that's fast, smart & has force behind it. I work with a Dobermann X Dingo hybrid at times, & that is a good mix. All intelligence, good reflexes & enough muscle on it to handle large game.

I do strongly dislike Labradors, Golden Retreivers & Dalmations, but that's for my own reasons.
 
Great Pyranees, huskies, Belgian shepherds especially the Malinois- I prefer big, outdoorsy Call of the Wild-type dogs. Not too much of a fan of small housedogs, except for terriers.
 
Bench Legged Feist....heart of a lion in a 15lb frame....brain the size of a pea....great companion.
 
I'd have to say GSDs (German shepards) as a rule, if I had to pick by breed alone. however, I never do that. I go wander around the dog pound until I fall in love with the right dog- and I don't mean "looks cute" Take them for a walk, play with them, ask about their personality and consider the commitment for care- things like exercise needs, temperment, grooming requirements, intellegence and your commitment to train them, potential congenital defects and breed health in general.

Right now I have two pits. I've also had an english mastiff and a golden retriever (who was a great dog also, but she HATED kids so go figure), a beagle mix and an english sheepdog mix. Hands down the GSD was the best dog on every level except for shedding.

Little dogs are cute to look at, but I've never met a single one I didn't want to drop kick into next week.
